Handing over the case of one state to CBI by another, never seen before: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary
New Delhi. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary expressed surprise at the handing over of the case by one state to the CBI after the Supreme Court 's decision to clear the way for a CBI probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput . The Supreme Court said that the Bihar government is competent to refer the matter to the CBI. The Congress leader in the Lok Sabha said that the Mumbai Police, which had caught the 26/11 attack terrorist Ajmal Kasab alive, should have been given a chance to complete the investigation.
Chaudhary said, "It is very strange. No one had ever seen that one state was handing over the case to another CBI. "The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the CBI probe in an FIR lodged against actress Riya Chakraborty in connection with the" unnatural death "of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. 'Approving' said that the same agency will investigate any other case registered in this case.
