Ayurveda will bring 'Dhanwantri Rath' to Delhi Police's families
New Delhi. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the force and the All India Institute of Ayurveda ( AIIA ) to provide Ayurvedic systems of precaution and promotional health services to Delhi Police 's residential colonies . According to the statement of the Ministry of AYUSH , with its support, these services will be provided by a mobile unit called ' Dhanvantari Rath ' and police welfare centers.
The MoU was exchanged between SN Shrivastava, Commissioner of Delhi Police and Pramod Kumar Pathak, Under Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH. According to a statement in this regard, Aayu Raksha, a joint venture between the AIIA and Delhi Police of the Ministry of AYUSH, aims to maintain the health of the Kovid warriors through Ayurvedic immunity enhancement measures. Covid-19 cases and mortality in the police force have decreased significantly after the delivery of age-defense kits among 80,000 policemen in two months.
