Security forces killed Lashkar commander who killed BJP leader Bari
Srinagar. Security forces killed the Lashkar-e-Taiba commander involved in the murder of BJP leader Wasim Bari last month as part of an operation in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Officials gave this information. He said the operation was launched on Monday after two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and a policeman were martyred in the firing of terrorists. This is the third terrorist killed in this operation today.
Police officials said that this foreign terrorist and commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba has been identified as Usman. Officials said that two army personnel who were injured on Monday in an encounter in Kriiri area of North Kashmir district have also been killed. Security forces chased the militants after the attack and killed two of them, including Sajjad Haider, a top commander of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba in North Kashmir.
Officials said another terrorist was killed on the second day of the operation. He said that objectionable material including ammunition in weapons was recovered from the terrorists at the site of the encounter. The operation was launched against Lashkar militants soon after an attack by a CRPF Naka team. Two force personnel and a Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir were killed in this attack. Police said that both Haider and Usman were top commanders of Lashkar and Usman was involved in the murder of BJP leader Bari and his father in July this year.
