Colombo: Pakistan Cricket Board has suffered a major setback. Sri Lanka's cricket team has agreed to come to Pakistan after two years, but only limited-overs to play. According to Pakistani media reports, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board has expressed its inability to play Test matches in Pakistan. The PCB was confident that the Sri Lankan Cricket Board would send the team to Pakistan to play the Test match.

"We are not in a position to send the team to Pakistan for two Test matches," Sri Lanka's Sports Minister Harin Fernando said. Yes, the team will stay in Pakistan for eight days, where they will play the ODI and T20 series. According to reports, Harin Fernando said that the team will not play a Test match in Pakistan due to security reasons. Both the Test matches will be held in the UAE.

The Sri Lankan team played the T20 match in Lahore, Pakistan in 2017. The Sri Lankan cricket team visited Pakistan for the first time since the 2009 terror attack, which injured a total of eight people, including the support, staff of the Sri Lankan cricket team.
