Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 12, 2019ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia -- President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that the U.S. is issuing an emergency order grounding all Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 aircraft in the wake of a crash of an Ethiopian Airliner that killed 157 people.He called it "an emergency order of prohibition. "The villagers said that it was a plane crash, and we rushed to the site. It was sending a technical team to the crash site to help the investigators.Earlier in the week, as several international airlines grounded their Boeing 737 Max 8s, American and Southwest Airlines continue to use them. But investigators also will look into the plane's maintenance, which may have been an issue in the Lion Air crash.The plane was delivered to Ethiopian Airlines in November.
