Demi Lovato Cancels Tour Dates As She Enters Rehab
Demi Lovato has canceled rest of her Tell Me You Love Me world tour dates as she enters rehab after the drug overdose that occurred last month.
Lovato, who was scheduled to perform in Mexico in September and six cities in South America in November, will now focus on her recovery.
"Unfortunately, Demi Lovato has canceled her upcoming Tell Me You Love Me Tour dates in South America, as she is focusing on her recovery," Live Nation and Lotus Productions said in a statement, according to People.
"The six-city tour was scheduled to visit Chile, Argentina, and Brazil starting November 14. Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase and credit card purchases will be automatically refunded."
The news comes just five days after Lovato was reported leaving Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to in-patient rehab facility in California.
The 25 year-old US singer was admitted at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center on July 24 after she was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home due to an apparent overdose. Lovato had to extend her stay in the hospital due to multiple complications.
