Jagan Changed Mind After Amit's Ph Call?
The tall claims of YCP that it vote against NDA have proved to be wrong as the party changed its mind and abstained from the voting. In a way, Jagan's YSRCP has helped NDA's candidate to win the Deputy Chairman post of Rajya Sabha.
The rumours in political circles have it that Jagan had to change his decision after he reportedly received a phone call from BJP chief Amit Shah. It is buzzed that Amit Shah has asked Jagan to not vote to Opposition candidate. This is said to have made Jagan to rethink on the Deputy Chairman election.
Hours before the election, YCP has changed its decision and withdrew its support to Opposition candidate. Categorically, the party has abstained from the voting resulting in the victory of the NDA's Harivansh Narayan Singh.
TDP leaders have fumed at YCP for helping BJP in Rajya Sabha. Senior leaders have alleged Jagan of compromising with BJP over his disproportionate assets case. Yanamala and others said Jagan's bond with BJP has been 'exposed' once again.
