Mumbai Indians can still make place in IPL playoffs, 3 major conditions will be required
Exciting matches are being played every day in IPL-2014. Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets in the match played on Sunday night. This has given great shocks to Mumbai's hopes of going in the playoffs. However, the Mumbai team can still make a place in the playoffs.
The first condition - Mumbai will have to win every match in the remaining matches against Punjab and Delhi. This will make Mumbai 14 points
Second condition: Punjab's team in the remaining match defeats at least 1 match in Bangalore or Chennai. From this, Punjab will reach maximum of 14 points. If this condition fails then the third condition must be met.
Third condition - On Tuesday, Kolkata-Rajasthan, winning the match, lost their last league match. With this, Kolkata or Rajasthan will reach maximum 14 points.
Overall the condition of the first condition is to be completed. Even if one of the two and third positions is fulfilled, Mumbai will still qualify for 14 points and good net run rate.
